  1. ...My car was coincidentally in for a service today. No issues to speak of, but all the staff are 'kids' now. There's very little experience or Audi experience - When I had issues last year, the Master Tech was struggling with many EV model issues, so time was a problem. Probably why the dealership wanted me to underwrite 10 hours of Labour before doing any more work on it!
  2. Hello Andy, By what you tell us, this is no ordinary price guide car, so trying to give you an idea of its ‘worth’ as you call it, is near enough an impossibility. If it were mine, this is what I would do :- First and foremost, get the car professional valeted, then take as many high resolution photos of it as you can. I would then forward these to some of the major players in the Classic car auction field - Iconic is just one, and an on-line search will come up with many more inc. Mathewsons. Obviously, you will have to pay an entry fee and commissions, but this is where you will find the greatest exposure and competitive interest. They should be able to guide you on an acceptable reserve. What was your intended advertising plan when you asked for advice on what it was worth? From what I would gather, - e.g. too old to keep getting…. your situation sounds potentially vulnerable, in a private sale of this specialised car. I certainly wouldn’t want to have strangers at my door and imparting information on what you have for sale at that address. As a matter of interest, do you have this on an agreed value insurance, or a ‘normal’ car policy? If the latter, you are going to find the car is grossly under insured. Please let us know how you get on Andy. Regards, Gareth.
  3. It would be worth investigating classic car auctions.
  4. Difficult to know how many batteries its had as I'm the third owner. Presume this was manufactured 05/24 and fitted later that year. This was at a time when the second owner had the vehicle for a short period which suggests they had a problem which may be related to what I'm experiencing.
  5. I don't quite understandard why Audi UK Technical aren't advising the dealer, unless I've misunderstood? Have you had your 12v battery replaced during your ownership ? (I'm on my 3rd, same year).
