So just got a brand new A3 sport saloon which I really like but the road noise through the tyres is crazy, the car came with Good Year F1 Eagle tyres on. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you rectify it as I would love to know. Look forward to hearing from you all. Cheers Graham

We have recently bought am A3 2.0 TDI but since we picked it up there has been a parking break alarm every time you turn on the car. It works and drives ok but wondering what I can do or check or get replaced if the warranty is of any use to stop this alarm. I wasn't there on pickup but I don't think it should of been handed over with this fault. Thanks for any help

I have recently replaced the battery and had it encoded to the on board computer. However the stop start system warning light has come on again. Hi all, Not been around for a while but still have the same car. Recently had oil change service with local Audi garage + complimentary visual health check. So, they noticed an oil leak in the area of the top timing chain cover. They cleaned it all down and advised to put a few miles on the car to see what develops. Well, yes there is a leak and on further inspection they have deduced that it needs O rings and cover gaskets. They did not mention replacing the cover itself and was just asking if

Hi Steve, apparently the brightness was turned down so low it was black in the car, they showed me how to turn it up to its fullest brightness and I have now had a look in the dark tonight and yes it's very dim no wonder I could not make it out before. So looking online I will buy some plug in ambient lighting that just plugs into the usb ports in the centre console and in the usb ports in the back near the air vents and that should brighten it all up a bit. Yes I enjoyed my Jag XE had it for 11 years so was time to change, still got one though in my garage, a 2003 XJ8 4.2 SE with only 48k on the clock so only just run in for a big old V8. I think I’ve sourced a male and female connector from Amazon. Will put the details up when it arrives and then only if it fits. I can then wire these up and connect from the line to the sub-woofer without hacking in to the existing wiring loom. Thanks

I did the same but the existing sub-woofer cable was fine. I can't open HCIE extension files without paying for an extension, could you re-upload in a simple format?

I believe Pete is doing 60 miles per day for other reasons, such as work, than solely to charge the battery, so no extra cost is involved. That should put plenty of charge into it. If there are doubts about the battery condition it needs to be tested. That said, I would get the car scanned to determine what is causing the parking brake warning. It might be the battery, it might be the handbrake switch, it might be some other sensor. The best way to find out is to get it scanned because the warning can not be taken literally.
