  1. Ressurecting this a bit, but your situation was almost exactly the same as mine. Last year, I got popped by a camera doing 40 in a 30 - thanks to a combination of an unfamiliar road and an odd looking speed camera. It was my first speeding ticket, which is pretty good considering I've been driving for 28 years, and I wasn't offered the speed awareness course either; just 3pts and a £100 fine.
  2. After fixing that door Chris it would be worth examining the other doors and boot. Those wires will possibly also be damaged. The problem is common and usually affects the door locks and windows.
  3. Hello Kimberley, Did you actually pick it up on Saturday, and are you pleased with the outcome? Regards, Gareth.

Hello Miguel, Notice you have returned to read the latest post, but not responded. Regards, Gareth.
  5. Positive thinking Chris! At least you now know where the problem lies. Probably best to run new cables through the flexible section and make joins within the door and behind the A post. Trying to rejoin them at the current break points can lead to a more rigid set up and more prone to further problems. Please keep us posted. Regards, Gareth.
