Hi, My 2003 A4 is fitted with a climate control panel with a temperature range starting from 18 degrees. Later control panels started at 16 degrees e.g. my previous 2004 A3. The part number of the one fitted in my car is 8E0-820-043-AD. Later climate control panels have the same part number but ending BM. My car does have heated seats so this is no different, I wanted to upgrade because sometimes 18 degrees is to warm but the LO setting is to cold. I manage with one side on 18 and the other on

I recently purchased my dream car a 2002 Audi S3 BAM engine. It was parked up for 5 years so what I thought was the fault initially was the gauze in the sump being blocked, which it was. after cleaning out the gauze, engine and sump 3 times it has started to show the same issue again. Main questions is how to fix it lol and does the oil pump usually give this type of issue?

Old A3 Saved from the bailer ✊🏻 Saw this sitting in a scrapyard a couple of years ago and asked what was wrong with it. “Needs a new ECU.” So I bought it. Got the ECU cloned, then changed the timing belt and water pump. After that came a very long battle trying to track down and sort a handful of electrical gremlins. If it were me (my A6 is old) I'd buy one from eBay that has a returns available to see if it works, then return it if not. As my A6 is 24 years old certain parts are obsolete so I'm having to fit other parts. For example sport suspension no longer available from Audi or aftermarket so I'm having to fit standard height suspension. I'm fitting heavy duty suspension but It's trial and error. Please feel free to message me directly.

Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? You could try a second hand compressor to see if its the fault.

Hello Michael , Since it doesn’t work, and you don’t really want it, then it will just continue not to work until the fault is found. Sorry to be pedantic, but what was the alternator output when checked? Also ‘static voltage is OK’. Do you know what the actual voltage is when measured one hour after its last trip? And the same question first thing in the morning before starting the car.? These readings can be meaningful when checking for parasitic drains. Apologies Michael, but AGM is a battery type descriptor and not a brand. Regards, Gareth.
